01

Clean Concrete Surface (grind if necessary)

We begin by removing all dirt, dust, oil, grease, and other contaminants from the concrete surface. This ensures the substrate is prepared to bond effectively with the sealer, allowing for optimal protection and appearance. If necessary, we will grind the substrate.

02

20% Solids Acrylic Sealer

Once the surface is clean and dry, a 20% solids acrylic sealer is applied as the base coat. This initial layer penetrates the concrete, providing a foundational barrier against moisture and stains while enhancing the surface's durability.

03

30% Solids Acrylic Sealer

After the base coat has dried, a layer of 30% solids acrylic sealer is applied. This top coat adds a stronger, more robust layer of protection, creating a high-gloss finish that boosts the concrete’s aesthetic appeal while making it easier to maintain.

02

Polyurethane

After the surface is clean and dry, a layer of polyurethane is applied. This coating provides excellent protection against abrasion, chemicals, and moisture while enhancing the durability of the concrete.

03

High-Performance Urethane

Once the polyurethane has cured, a top coat of urethane is applied for added protection and a smooth, polished finish. This layer increases resistance to wear and UV damage, ensuring a long-lasting, easy-to-maintain surface with enhanced gloss and clarity.

01

Clean Concrete Surface (grind if necessary)

We begin by removing all dirt, dust, oil, grease, and other contaminants from the concrete surface. We use a broom or vacuum for loose debris and a concrete cleaner or degreaser for stains. A pressure washer can be used for a deep clean. If necessary, we will industrial diamond grind the concrete before application.

02

Polyurea

Once the surface is dry, a layer of polyurea is applied. Polyurea is a fast-curing, highly durable coating that provides excellent resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and moisture. It forms a protective base layer that strengthens the concrete and prepares it for the final coat.

03

Polyaspartic

After the polyurea has cured, a top coat of polyaspartic is applied. This top layer offers superior UV stability, scratch resistance, and a high-gloss finish. Polyaspartic enhances the durability of the system while providing an easy-to-clean, long-lasting surface that retains its aesthetic appeal even in harsh environments.

SYSTEM CHARACTERISTICS

QUICK CURE/RETURN TO SERVICE

All of our concrete sealing systems can be installed in just two days, ensuring a quick turnaround for your space. Remarkably, within just 24 hours after the final installation day, the floor is ready for foot traffic and can accommodate objects being placed back on it. This efficient timeline minimizes downtime, allowing your business operations to continue with minimal disruption.

IMPROVED RESISTANCE TO CHEMICALS AND WEAR

Concrete sealers create a protective barrier on the surface of the concrete, preventing chemicals from penetrating the porous material. Along with this, concrete sealers also increase the surface hardness of concrete, making it more resistant to abrasion and physical wear. This is especially beneficial in high-traffic areas such as driveways, walkways, and industrial floors where heavy machinery or vehicles may be in use.

MINIMIZES HAIR-CRACKING, PREMATURE CRACKING, DUSTING, AND SPALLING

The sealer penetrates the concrete, filling pores and forming a hard, impermeable layer that prevents water and other harmful substances from entering. This reduces the freeze-thaw cycle damage that often leads to cracking and spalling. Additionally, the sealer's hardening effect minimizes surface abrasion, reducing dusting caused by wear and tear. By protecting against moisture intrusion and surface degradation, sealed concrete maintains its structural integrity and appearance over time.

AESTHETIC PRESERVATION

By protecting against stains, discoloration, and surface damage, sealers help keep concrete surfaces looking clean and attractive. This is particularly valuable for decorative concrete finishes where maintaining aesthetic appeal is important.

EASY TO MAINTAIN

Sealed concrete surfaces are easier to clean and maintain. The protective barrier prevents dirt, grime, and chemicals from embedding into the concrete, allowing for easier removal with routine cleaning practices.
